KNOW WHAT PUBLIC INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE ABOUT YOU. SEARCH OUR ONLINE RECORDS.
Have you ever wondered what information is available about you in public records? It’s a good time to check by searching the online records available on the Clerk & Comptroller’s Web site, www.mypalmbeachclerk.com.
Florida clerks are required by law to maintain and provide to the public copies of records such as mortgage documents, deeds, and marriage licenses. The law required that many of these records be posted online as of 2002, with private information such as Social Security, bank and credit account numbers removed from all records by 2012.
Should you find personal information on any records, you have the right to request the Clerk’s office to remove such information. People in certain occupations, as well as their spouses and children, also can have personal information removed from public records.
I hope you’ll take the time to search our official records to see what’s online about you.
Sharon R. Bock, Esq.
Clerk & Comptroller, Palm Beach County
