  • An Income Deduction Order was signed directing payments through the Florida State Disbursement Unit. How can I have this issued?
  • *You have 2 options:
1.) Your Attorney can issue the Notice to Payor to the Respondent's employer.
2.) You can visit the Self Service Center at your local Court House and purchase the forms necessary to send the Notice to Payor to the Respondent's employer.

  • Do I have to get an income deduction order every time there is a change of employment?
  • * If no changes have been made to the regular support amount a new income deduction order is not necessary. Upon receipt of the new employer information, the Clerk’s office will send a Notice to Payor to the new employer. However, if there are any changes in the amount to be paid through the court, such as; child support or alimony, payment on the balance, payment on attorney’s fees, etc., a corresponding Income Deduction Order must be filed with the Clerk to take action.

  • *Contact the Department of Revenue at 1-800-622-5437 or visit their web site. You also may visit the Self Service Center or consult with an attorney.
