The proverbial days of auctioning properties on the courthouse steps are finally over! I’m excited to announce that the Clerk & Comptroller’s office is now conducting online foreclosure auctions. The new convenient service is part of my ongoing effort to use technology to improve efficiencies, customer service and your access to the courts.
By selling Palm Beach County’s foreclosures online, anyone can research and bid on properties, from anywhere in the world. Online auctions replaced in-person sales at the courthouse—a change that saves time, money and limited staff resources.
