COUPLES MARRY IN CLERK’S VALENTINE’S DAY GROUP WEDDING
Clerk Bock presides over third-annual event at the National Croquet Center
WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (February 14, 2013) – Thirty-one local couples said “I do!” on Valentine’s Day at a group wedding ceremony officiated by Clerk Sharon Bock at the National Croquet Center in West Palm Beach.
The group ceremony on Thursday afternoon was the third Valentine’s Day event organized by the Clerk’s office and the National Croquet Center, which donated its facility for the event. Registration opened in January for couples who wanted to take part in the wedding. The only cost to the couples is their marriage license.
“This is our third year hosting this event, but every year is unique and special because of the couples who take part. You can see in their faces how happy they are to be together, and I’m grateful to be part of their special day,” Clerk Bock said. “I’m also grateful to the Croquet Center for their continued support for our Valentine’s Day wedding, and to the generosity of our other community partners who help make this day possible.”
This event is provided at no cost to taxpayers, thanks to these eight community partners:
