STRATEGIST TO GIVE OUTLOOK ON FANNIE MAE, HOUSING MARKET, INTEREST RATES AND OTHER ECONOMIC INDICATORS
Clerk Bock Invited Speaker to Address Investment Committee on May 19
WEST PALM BEACH, FL (May 12, 2011) – Clerk Sharon R. Bock welcomes Craig Dismuke, Senior Vice President and Chief Economic Strategist for Vining Sparks, as the featured speaker at Palm Beach County’s Investment Policy Committee meeting on Thursday, May 19. Members of the public are encouraged to attend.
Mr. Dismuke will address developments affecting Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and other government-backed enterprises that guarantee 90 percent of home mortgages made in the U.S. since the financial crisis of 2008. He’ll also give his forecast for the housing market, U.S. budget deficit, Federal Reserve actions and the likely course of interest rates over the next year.
Mr. Dismuke is responsible for the projection and publication of Vining Sparks’ economic and interest rate forecasts. He is a frequent speaker on the health of the U.S. economy, expectations for interest rates, and investment strategies.
