CLERK & COMPTROLLER’S WEST COUNTY BRANCH IS MOVING
Office closed on September 14, reopening September 18
WEST PALM BEACH, FL (September 7, 2012) – The Clerk & Comptroller’s office in Belle Glade will close September 14 and reopen on September 18 in a new location at the West County Courthouse.
The office’s new location will be 2950 State Road 15, room S-100. The mailing address, however, will not change. All West County branch correspondence should continue to be addressed to: P.O. Box 207, West Palm Beach, FL., 33402.
The Clerk’s branch office is moving as part of an expansion of the West County Courthouse. The new Belle Glade location will offer more space for the Clerk’s office and the public. It also will have expanded services, including:
- A new marriage ceremony room for couples who want to get married at the Belle Glade branch.
- A larger Self Service Center, where customers can use public access computers and purchase do-it-yourself legal forms.
- The ability for customers to send a text message or go online to check wait times at the West County branch, a service that was previously unavailable for the Belle Glade office.
“Our new West County branch will offer an array of conveniences, from getting wait times by text message to getting married in our ceremony room,” said Clerk Sharon Bock. “I know our customers will appreciate it.”
