The Clerk & Comptroller serves as the Chief Financial officer, Treasurer & Auditor of Palm Beach County.
As the official “watchdog” of all County funds, the Clerk & Comptroller provides the necessary “checks and balances” on the County’s budget, revenue and spending. The Clerk also invests and earns revenue on County funds to reduce the tax burden on the citizens of Palm Beach County.
The Clerk’s responsible administration of this function helped to make Palm Beach County one of only a handful of counties nationwide to earn a AAA bond rating.
