Self Service Center

Your Guide through the Courts

Pro Se E-FilingThe Self Service Center is your go-to source for help navigating the court system in Palm Beach County, providing the resources you need to represent yourself, access the courts and much more!

Self Service Centers are available in the Main Courthouse (room 2.2209 on the second floor) and in all branch courthouse locations. Self Service Centers are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

File Your Documents Online

Self-represented litigants may choose to electronically file documents online using the statewide e-filing portal. You may access the portal 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to file documents. E-filing is not required for self-represented filers; our office will continue to accept paper filings from self-represented litigants.

*Other passport services including applications are available at branch locations only of the Clerk & Comptroller's office. In West Palm Beach, passport applications are handled at the United States Post Office at 3200 Summit Boulevard, West Palm Beach, FL 33406.

Legal Forms

Forms available for purchase include FamilySmall ClaimsEviction (Landlord/Tenant)Petition to Seal/Expunge and more. The forms have instructions including how many copies are needed, where to take the forms and what the next steps are. The prices of these forms range from $1 to $20, and they may be purchased at any Self Service Center location.

If you know the form packet you wish to purchase, you may contact us at (561) 355-7048 and submit a request over the phone.

Once you have completed your forms, you have the option to electronically file them.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO INCLUDE YOUR NAME, ADDRESS AND TELEPHONE NUMBER ON EVERY DOCUMENT YOU FILE WITH THE COURT.

Interactive Online Forms

The following legal forms may be prepared online using the Clerk's low-cost form preparation program:

  • Divorce
  • Evictions (Landlord/Tenant Action)
  • Small Claims

The following web browsers do not work with the Clerk’s interactive online form preparation program at this time: Google Chrome (all computers) and Firefox (Mac only). Please choose another browser when using this program.

Users of Internet Explorer 11 also may experience problems with the interactive forms at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Attorney Consultations

Attorney consultations are available by appointment at all Self Service Center locations. The attorney can offer procedural advice in Family, Small Claims and Landlord/Tenant actions. The cost of this service is:

  • $15.00 for 15 minutes
  • $30.00 for 30 minutes
  • $60.00 for 60 minutes

Notice of Confidential Information Within Court Filing

Any court filings made in a Florida court that contain confidential information must be accompanied by a Notice of Confidential Information – a form that lists 19 exemptions to public records laws, including adoption records, Social Security or bank account numbers, HIV test results or information identifying victims of sexual offenses. Read more.
