Clerk & Comptroller’s Annual Student Art Auction Raises Money for Local Middle School

UPDATE 3/18/2020: The Clerks 4 Arts auction will end on March 20 as scheduled. However, we are suspending pick up of art by the winning bidders until a later date. Art will be held at our offices until winning bidders are able to pick it up. Please call 561-355-2468 if you have any questions or concerns.

Bidding Underway for Nearly 200 Pieces of Artwork Created by Students at Conniston Middle School in West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (March 9, 2020) – The Clerk & Comptroller, Palm Beach County is auctioning off nearly 200 colorful pieces of original artwork to raise money for the arts education program at Conniston Middle School in West Palm Beach.

The fourth annual Clerks 4 Arts auction features watercolor paintings, tile mosaics and painted ceramics created by students at the middle school.

The online auction opened Monday, March 9 and continues through Friday, March 20.

The public is invited to bid on the students’ artwork by visiting MyPalmBeachClerk.com/Clerks4Arts.

The artwork has been on display at the Clerk’s offices since April. Students drew their inspiration for the exhibit, entitled “A Garden of Art,” from images of botanical gardens.

Since launching Clerks 4 Arts in 2016, the Clerk’s office has raised $7,400 for Conniston’s arts education program.
