WEST PALM BEACH - Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller, Palm Beach County's Chief Legal Officer & Chief Operating Officer of Courts Amy Borman, Esq. has been reappointed by Chief Justice John D. Couriel to the Local Rule Advisory Committee (LRAC) for a two-year term and appointed to the Advisory Workgroup on the Florida Supreme Court Approved Family Law Forms for a one-year term.

The LRAC makes recommendations to the Florida Supreme Court concerning local rules submitted by the chief judges of the circuit courts pursuant to Florida Rule of General Practice and Judicial Administration 2.215(e). The Advisory Workgroup makes recommendations regarding improvement to the Florida Supreme Court Approved Family Law Forms.

The recommendations made by each group are submitted to the Clerk of the Supreme Court of Florida and help to ensure uniformity and compliance with statewide Florida Rules of Court.
