Waiting list is open for couples to take part in Clerk Bock’s free group ceremony

WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (January 23, 2012) – All 40 spots are filled for the free group Valentine’s Day wedding ceremony, which for the second consecutive year will be officiated by Clerk Sharon Bock at the National Croquet Center.

A waiting list is now set up for those still hoping to be one of the lucky couples that Clerk Bock will marry in the group ceremony at the Croquet Center. Any space that comes open before the wedding day will be filled by couples on the waiting list.

Couples who want to put their names on the Valentine’s Day wedding waiting list should call (561) 355-2468, or send an e-mail to ccpbc@mypalmbeachclerk.com. Registration for the ceremony opened December 28, 2011.

“We’ve heard from so many couples that they can’t afford to have a wedding of their own, because they’ve lost their jobs or simply don’t have the money in this difficult economy,” Clerk Bock said. “We’re happy that we’re able to help, and are grateful to the businesses that have donated their services to make this possible.”

No taxpayer money is spent on the wedding. The ceremony is free for couples, though they still must pay for their marriage licenses.

More information about the Valentine’s Day wedding is available at www.mypalmbeachclerk.com/valentinesday.

The Valentine’s Day ceremony would not be possible without donations from the Croquet Center and these 15 community partners:
