General Information

Foreclosure Sales Are Conducted Online

Foreclosure sales are conducted online, generally Monday through Thursday, at 10:00 a.m. Bidding begins at 9 a.m.  No sales are conducted on legal holidays. Check the online auction calendar for the exact dates of upcoming sales.

The Clerk & Comptroller cannot assist in researching properties, nor can we give legal advice.  The Clerk sells property pursuant to court order and cannot guarantee a clear title.  It is the responsibility of the purchaser to research the property prior to the sale date.

Sale List

You may review the list of cases set for sale using the online auction calendar.

Please check the online auction calendar for the most up to date sale information. Sale cancellations will be reflected on the auction site.

All bidders will be required to advance funds sufficient to satisfy the deposit requirement, should they be the successful bidder. Advance deposits may be made online through the electronic auction Web site via ACH transfer at least three (3) full business days before the auction they intend to participate in.  In addition, the deposit may be paid by cash, official bank check, cashier’s check and if represented by an attorney, by attorney trust account check.  Personal checks will not be accepted.

Final payment may be made by cash, official bank check, cashier check or attorney trust account check. This payment must be received by the Clerk by 2 p.m. the next business day after the sale. Additionally, final payment may be made by wire transfer.  Such wire transfer must be received by the Clerk’s bank by 2 p.m. the next business day after the sale. Final payment may not be made by ACH/electronic check, unless you are the judgment holder represented by counsel and your bid does not exceed your judgment credit. Personal checks will not be accepted.

Register to Bid

To be eligible to bid at an auction, you must register online prior to the auction at mypalmbeachclerk.clerkauction.com and satisfy the advance deposit requirements.  You must register for yourself and any and all corporations, non-profits, partnerships, business, etc. that you may represent as a bidder. The Clerk reserves the right to require proof of bidder’s name and/or affiliation. There is no fee for registration.  You do not need to register solely to view an auction.

Judgment holders and/or their representatives must also register prior to the auction and prepay the Clerk’s $70 sale fee no later than close of business the day before the auction. The $70 electronic online sale fee shall be assessed and paid by the plaintiff upon obtaining a Final Judgment or Order setting a foreclosure sale in which such Final Judgment or Order was signed by the judge after June 16, 2017.
