Security and integrity of the court records – including confidential information contained within those records - is of the utmost importance to the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller, Palm Beach County. That is why we have made some necessary changes to our eCaseView system.

Our updated eCaseView system (the public’s way of viewing cases) was designed using multi-factor authentication (MFA) when logging in as a registered user. This additional security layer was needed because registered users who are also licensed attorneys with The Florida Bar have access to confidential information in cases associated with their Florida Bar number as permitted by the Florida Court Technology Commission’s Access Security Matrix. Florida Supreme Court AOSC24-65

We understand that this may change the process used in your office to access eCaseView. Below are some helpful options to easily access court records:

  • Log in to eCaseView as a guest user. No MFA required. Guest users will not be able to see Mental Health, Guardianship, Probate or Family cases as outlined in Florida Supreme Court AOSC24-65 or confidential documents.
  • Log in to eCaseView as a registered user/non-attorney. A registration form must be filled out and sent to ecaseviewid@mypalmbeachclerk.com. No notarization of application required when registering as a non-attorney registered user. Registered users who are not attorneys licensed in Florida will be able to view all documents that a guest user can view PLUS non-confidential documents in civil, criminal, probate, family, guardianship and mental health cases.
  • Log in to eCaseView as a registered user/Florida Bar Attorney. A registration form must be filled out, notarized, and sent to ecaseviewid@mypalmbeachclerk.com. Notarization is required as part of the Access Security Matrix. Registered users who are licensed Florida attorneys will be able to view everything that a registered user can view PLUS confidential documents in cases where they are an attorney of record as well as juvenile, adoption, Baker Act, Marchman Act, mental health cases filed by Adult Protective Services and Petitions for Injunctions prior to the respondent being served where the registered user is the attorney of record and the Florida Bar number is associated with the case. Because of the sensitive nature of these matters, the user agreement states that accounts tied to the Florida Bar number cannot be shared.
  • Certain documents can never be viewed over eCaseView regardless of status. This includes sealed, expunged, and not for public disclosure cases.
