The Clerk’s office offers an FTP Subscription Service for traffic reports in accordance with section 316.650(11)(c) to entities providing driver safety training.

Description of Service

This subscription-only Electronic Distribution utilizes a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) service for entities (customers) entering into an annual subscription agreement. This information does not contain document images.

In order to establish and maintain the electronic distribution in a fashion that will serve the needs of customers while protecting driver information in accordance with Florida law, it is necessary to control access and assess a special usage fee of $600 per year.

The annual subscription fee of $600 is payable December 15 of each year for the following calendar year. The cost for new subscriptions will be prorated at $50.00 per month for the months remaining in the year, beginning with the month the service is activated.

An account ID, password and instructions will be provided upon receipt of 1) proof that customer provides driver safety training, 2) a completed and signed FTP Creation Application; 3) a signed Terms and Conditions, and 4) payment.  

The account ID and password will be e-mailed to the address specified on the FTP Creation Application.  It is the responsibility of the subscriber to safeguard the account ID and password.

Construction and Use

The FTP site is a short-term warehouse of daily reports of traffic cases.

These files will remain on the server for a period not less than 45 days. Subscribed clients must visit and download this information during the 45-day time period.

Report Contents

The file contains all cases that were docketed during the applicable daily timeframe. 

The data fields that will be included in the daily traffic report are:

Complete, sign and submit the Terms and Conditions and the FTP Creation Application. The application must also be accompanied by proof that the customer is a driver safety training provider.

4. Preferred payment method:
   a) Check or money order made payable to: Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller, Palm Beach County – please include with the items listed above.
   b) Credit or debit card payments are processed in person or via a link provided by email (NOTE:
        processing/service fees apply)
