Documents are “recorded” and become Official Records of Palm Beach County. The public can view these documents at the Main Courthouse or online through a public access search.

Declaration of Domicile
A “Declaration of Domicile” is a legal document that defines where you reside and intend to maintain your permanent and principal home; and declares that you are a bona fide resident of the State of Florida.
Domestic Partnership
Palm Beach County's domestic partnership registry is maintained by the Clerk & Comptroller's Recording Department.
Escrow Accounts
The Clerk & Comptroller provides non-interest bearing escrow accounts for payment of Recording and other services, such as Index/Photocopy fees.

Notice Of Commencement
Florida law requires a “Notice of Commencement” to be recorded by the county and/or city before activities begin (such as renovations, building of a pool, etc.).
Transfer of Lien to Bond
If you wish to transfer a lien to bond, you must provide a recorded copy of the Claim of Lien being bonded together with a cashier's check pursuant to Chapter 713 of the Florida Statutes.
