• Sign up for free monitoring of Palm Beach County's Official Records.
• Get an alert within 48 hours if a document such as a deed or mortgage is recorded using your name.

Copies of Deeds and Other Official Records

Many new homeowners receive official-looking notices from private companies that charge high fees for copies of public records. Don't overpay!

• View deeds, mortgages and other Official Records online for free and print uncertified copies.
• Purchase certified copies for just $1 per page plus $2 for each document you'd like certified.

Value Adjustment Board

Know your options regarding your property’s assessed value and property taxes.

• Every August, the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser notifies taxpayers of their property’s assessed and market values.
• If you feel the assessment, classification or exemption status for your property is not correct, you may call the Property Appraiser's office at 561-355-3230 to discuss your concerns. 
• If you are unable to resolve the matter, you can file a petition with the Value Adjustment Board.
